This is the first Port ever produced by Valley View. The grapes for this dessert wine come from estate grown Tempranillo and Merlot from Stepping Stone vineyard also in the Applegate Valley. Winemaker John Guerrero has produced a stunning wine that will earn praise and medals in the near future. Where to start, this wine has some many dimensions it hard to describe. Concentrated blueberry, raspberry and cinnamon flavors meld with warm overtones of coco and sweet oak. The lengthy finish features soft tannins with flavors of blackberry and nutmeg. (375ml)
