This wine is composed of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc from four Rogue Valley vineyards. The 2000 growing season featured very hot days and very little rainfall which resulted in small, concentrated berries. Winemaker John Guerrero blended the best lots to create a wonderful Bordeaux blend that will age well for the next 2 to 8 years. Released after extended bottle aging, this wine has won five Gold Medals along with a Best of Show and the wine is just now entering its peak years. Enjoy with prime rib, steak or a big Italian pasta dinner, with red sauce of course!
